Why we built AlbuSOL: a Solana token launch desk that runs in your terminal
Most Solana token launchers are websites. You connect a wallet, sign what the page puts in front of you and trust that it is what it says. We wanted the opposite for our own launches: a tool that runs on our machine, keeps the key on our machine and shows every transaction before it is sent. That tool became AlbuSOL, and we published it for free.
What it does
- Creates an SPL token with metadata, and revokes the mint and freeze authorities so holders can see the supply is fixed.
- Creates an OpenBook market and Raydium pools (CPMM and AMM v4), and adds liquidity.
- Burns LP tokens, fully or in part, so liquidity cannot be pulled.
- Mints Metaplex Core collections and NFTs, including batches for brands: loyalty passes, tickets, certificates.
How it keeps the key safe
Wallets live in an encrypted file on your computer (scrypt key derivation and AES-256-GCM), unlocked with your password for each session. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account. Every action shows a confirmation with what will be signed and what it costs before anything is sent.
Install
npx albusol
That is the whole install on macOS, Linux or Windows with Node.js 20 or newer. The source is MIT-licensed on GitHub, and each release ships with SHA-256 checksums.
How it is paid for
The tool is free. Each successful on-chain action carries a small flat service fee in SOL, shown in the confirmation before you agree, and sent as a separate transaction only after the action succeeds. If an action fails, there is no fee.
Honest limits
Every flow has been run end to end on Solana devnet, twice. Mainnet uses the same code and the same programs, but run a small test first, and read the disclaimer: launching a token is your responsibility, and so is what you promise to the people who buy it.
Would rather not do it yourself? A token launch with revoked authorities and a Raydium pool, where you keep the keys, is a fixed-price service on our Products page, and so is a brand NFT collection of up to 1,000 assets.
